If you had told me a car park tunnel at a Sainsbury’s supermarket in Bude, Cornwall was a no.1 tourist attraction on Tripadvisor and then was going to be one of the longest tunnels of Christmas lights in Europe this year, I would never have believed it. But, turns out it’s true and it looks absolutely amazing.
After ironically skyrocketing to the top of places you must see and experience in Cornwall on Tripadvisor earlier this year, the Sainsbury’s tunnel connecting the car park to the store has become famous in the Cornish community. To celebrate, Sainsbury’s decided to give the tunnel the festive makeover it deserves, brightening up the weekly grocery shop with thousands of LED lights.
I don’t know about you, but getting to the supermarket isn’t always an easy task however, if Bude Tunnel were nearby, I’m pretty certain it would be another story and we’d be making several trips a week!
If you live in the area, you better be quick. These changing, interactive Christmas lights will only be around until 16 December.
