We are under no requirement to register with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) to process your personal data in accordance with this policy.

2. Collecting data

We rely on your consent to process your personal data. Any personal data you upload that is listed in this section, is freely given to us, by you, on the terms of this policy and in accordance with our Terms of Use. Personal data is processed primarily to allow you to benefit from our site (which you have signed up to of your own accord).   1. Security, retention and storage

7.1 All personal data held on our databases is stored in UK based data centres and all of our systems are certified to ISO 27001 standard. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

7.2 All data is backed-up daily to a secure server via secure file transfer protocol and all backup files are password protected.

7.2 Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

7.3 Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

7.4 Our site contains links to and from third party websites and blogging platforms. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. 7.5 Any personal data you provide to us will only be retained by us for as long as you are a member or registered user of our site. After you close your account, or your account is otherwise de-activated or you don’t use it or login for 12 months, we will delete your data and you will need to re-register (should you wish to rejoin).

We have the capacity to extract your personal data from our databases and provide it to you in a structured, commonly-used way (typically by .csv file).
