Am I the only one that didn’t know you could make salted caramel with miso?! Thanks to Ravneet Gill, I was fortunate enough to learn how whilst attending her Chocolate Fusion Cookalong with Just Eat and Taste London.
For someone with an induction hob and a non-stick pan, I was told that the recipe may not work as well, but that didn’t put me off and I was up for the challenge. As advised, I took it slow… because I didn’t want it to burn. And now that I know how to successfully make it, you’ll find me drizzling it over ice cream too! I also learnt how to make a tart case with bran flakes – an ingredient I’d never associate with a tart but equally delicious and adds crunch!
If you have an extra sweet tooth, like me, Ravneet’s Miso Caramel and Chocolate Tart is definitely a dish to go to. Exceptionally low maintenance to create (literally 15 minutes to whip it all together) the real test is leaving it to set in the fridge! And once set, not going back for more…
With Mother’s Day upcoming, Ravneet’s Miso Caramel & Chocolate Tart is available for Londoners to order just in time for Mother’s Day from 12th-13th March, exclusively on Just Eat.
